What We Do

Partners in Learning, LLC was founded in 2013 by co-directors Danielle Foster, M.S. Ed. and Ashley Pizzo, M.A. Ed. in an effort to provide excellent individualized support for all learners.

Partners in Learning provides educational support to families and independent schools in the D.C. metro area. PIL offers one-on-one tutoring, speech-language therapy, assessments, and professional development. Specializations include supporting students with specific learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, receptive/expressive language deficits, students learning English as a second language, and Arabic language education. Additionally, PIL offers a variety of workshops to train teachers in supporting students in areas of need.

We create customized learning plans for students based off data gleaned through assessments, documentation review, and consultations with families and teachers. Utilizing scientifically-based, research-proven programs and methodologies, goals are created and monitored to ensure success. Academic programs are available to support students with reading, math, spelling, writing, study skills, critical thinking and more. Additionally, ISEE and SSAT test prep is available for students applying to independent elementary and middle schools.
