Speech and Language Assessments and Therapy
Partners In Learning offers speech and language therapy in the areas of articulation, phonological processing, apraxia of speech, receptive language, expressive language, receptive and expressive vocabulary, word finding, language processing, executive function, and social language skills. An individualized service plan is created based on clinical observations and standardized testing. Recommendations and strategies that can be used in the classroom and at home will be provided to parents and teachers to best support student development.
Screening - A screening includes an informal assessment and clinical observation of a child’s overall speech and language skills.
Articulation Assessment - An articulation assessment includes the administration of standardized tests and clinical observations of speech sound productions and oral motor function.
Language Assessment - Based on the child’s needs, language assessments include the administration of standardized tests and clinical observations in the areas of receptive and expressive language, receptive and expressive vocabulary, language processing, critical thinking, word finding, and social language skills.
